Brecon Beacons trail running retreat

Mountains + Fells
Friday 10th - Monday 13th October 2025
C&G Trail Runners will be heading to the mighty Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons)!
This incredible landscape is full of majestic mountains, and is the perfect place for us to train.
Our team of run leaders and mountain leaders provide the highest quality of training and safety when operating in the mountains.
THE TEAM:
We're delighted to be joined in the Brecons by the inspirational South Wales native, Gareth Jones!
Also known as the Mental Health Wanderer, Gareth has been a Physical Training Instructor in the British Army for a decade, and has competed in multiple long distance trail/mountain ultra races including Marathon Des Sables (250km), Ultra-Trail Snowdonia (100 miles), the Spine Race (286 miles), plus many more!
Gareth is a qualified Mountain Leader - as well as being a very experienced trail run leader - so it's safe to say you'll be in good hands!
Also on the camp will be Robbie Puddick, the highly-qualified Nutritionist for C&G Trail Runners. Robbie is also an experienced trail runner and run leader.
The final team member is Phil Hobbins-White, owner and club manager of C&G Trail Runners. Phil will be your host for the weekend, and will be leading and facilitating a number of the activities.
EXTRA INFORMATION:
We will have the resources to split the group into an advanced group and a less experienced group if required, so don't get put off if you're less experienced in the mountains!
Our goal for this camp is to create a safe and fun environment, where everyone can learn and train together without the distractions of daily life!
