The course starts on 13 October 2025.
Our 6-session introductory course is an ideal opportunity for people new to trail running (or even running in general), who want to use it as a springboard to improve their fitness, and take-up a new sport.
COURSE INFO:
All sessions are 6:30-7:30pm
Places are limited to 10 maximum.
Free energy drinks after each session.
No requirement to attend every session (although it is recommended).
One month of free membership to C&G Trail Runners upon completion of the course.
ESSENTIAL EQUIPMENT NEEDED:
Trail running shoes
Standard sports clothing for the weather
Water
The course is led by Phil Hobbins-White, owner and club manager of C&G Trail Runners.
Phil is a UESCA-trained running coach, a qualified Leader in Running Fitness with England Athletics, and regularly competes in national and international trail races.

Terms:
- Ticket purchases are non-refundable.
- If the course is cancelled by the club for any reason, you will have the option to defer to a new date or receive a full refund.
- You are responsible for purchasing your own trail running shoes and clothing.
- Any form of bullying or discrimination will not be tolerated.
- We reserve the right to remove participants from the course if they are not healthy enough to safely participate.
