Fast-Track to 10K:
Your shortcut to becoming a more confident trail runner
Run further. Run stronger. Run the trails with extra confidence.
Our fast-track to 10K course follows a straightforward five-week plan, and is perfect whether you’re new to trail running, or already running regularly but need an extra something to keep going.

Who is this course for?
The fast‑track to 10K course is perfect for people who:
✅ Can already run 5km without stopping and have the goal to run a trail 10K.
✅ Want to improve, especially when hills are involved!
✅ Love the trails and want to feel stronger and more confident on them.
✅ Have limited time and want a clear, efficient plan that actually works.
What's included?
Five trail runs in a small group, at five different locations, all perfect for trail running:
Week 1: Painswick + Popes Wood (28th July)
-
This 5km run contains classic trail running terrain through the woods, and will be a nice introduction to the course.
Week 2: Stroud Canal (4th August)
-
As this 6km route is super-flat it's a great chance for us to increase the distance without added hills.
Week 3: Selsley Common (11th August)
-
Now we'll add hills into the mix with this 7km run around Selsley Common!
Week 4: Haresfield (18th August)
-
We'll get some epic views on this 7.5km run, which make the steep climbs all the more rewarding!
Week 5: Woodchester Park (25th August)
-
Our final run - a 10km around the lovely Woodchester Park and Estate - will see us combine an increased distance with plenty of hills!
