The course starts on 8th February 2026.
Our 6-session course is a great chance to train with people who are at the same level as each other, who have similar goals to yours, whilst receiving advice and motivation from a qualified trail running coach.
COURSE INFO:
Starts 8th February 2026; every Sunday at 9am
Open to club members and non-members
C&G Trail Runners members receive £5 discount (use the code in the members' area)
Places are limited to 10 maximum
No requirement to attend every session (although it is recommended)
Discounts on running products and perks upon completion of the course
MANDATORY EQUIPMENT:
Trail running shoes
Water / electrolyte hydration
Snacks for fuelling
The course is led by Phil Hobbins-White, owner and club manager of C&G Trail Runners.
Phil is a UESCA-trained running coach, a qualified Leader in Running Fitness with England Athletics, and regularly competes in national and international trail races.

8th Feb: Leckhampton Hill (10km)
15th Feb: Highnam (12km)
22nd Feb: Lineover + Dowdeswell (13km)
1st Mar: May Hill (15km)
8th Mar: River Severn (17km)
15th Mar: Cleeve Hill (half marathon!)
Terms:
- Ticket purchases are non-refundable.
- If the course is cancelled by the club for any reason, you will have the option to defer to a new date or receive a full refund.
- You are responsible for purchasing your own trail running shoes and clothing.
- Any form of bullying or discrimination will not be tolerated.
- We reserve the right to remove participants from the course if they are not healthy enough to safely participate.
