WHO IS THis event FOR?
Both runs are for people who want to take on a bigger trail running challenge, build their endurance and enjoy the experience of running 30km with a group, connecting with people just like themselves.
-
Ready for a new challenge? 30km on the trails isn't easy, but this is a great chance to push your distance within a supportive group.
-
Building towards something even bigger? This is a brilliant opportunity to get some extra miles in your legs ahead of a 50km, 50-mile or 100km event.
-
Looking to increase your endurance? By spending more time on your feet, you'll improve your stamina and gain extra confidence to tackle longer distances.
-
Enjoy running with other people? Long runs are so much more enjoyable when you’re with a friendly group to share the experience with.
-
Want to run further without worrying about racing? This run is about enjoying the trails, finding your rhythm, and completing the distance together, rather than chasing a time.
All runners should ensure they have a sufficient level of fitness to tackle a 30km trail run, therefore everyone should have run at least a half marathon on trails in the 6 months prior to the run.
There will be two versions of the Run the Cotswolds 30K to cater for runners of different pace levels.
Run 1: Sunday 4th April 2027
Estimated pace: 8 mins/km or above (grade adjusted pace)
Expect to walk up the hills.
Run 2: Sunday 18th April
